The Potjie Pot cooking experience and wellness area (communal sauna and enormous wood fired hot tub with bubbles) were a real highlight! The owners have really thought of every little aspect and of your stay, from the well stocked kitchen to the heated and covered rooftop terrace.

In the day go for a walk, pop to the local pub, come back and jump in the plunge hot tub, and then get snuggly watching a film in front of the fire on the outdoor projector, while the potjie pot cooks away.”

I just wanted to say that we have the most amazing time we have ever had staying anywhere we have ever stayed before. I shed a little tear leaving! Going to miss your amazing dog Boris! WHAT a beautiful kind dog. Sorry about getting the dog wet it was our fault, for some reason he loved the hose pipe!! We felt so so so lucky to be there and as for the price, we feel we got a bargain!!! We don´t have any negatives at all. We took advantage of everything to enhance our stay so thank you so much for having us, it was a blip, it was like a dream where we don’t want to wake up from, but we did haha. You have something so special its hard to put into words how special it is!

My partner and I had the best weekend staying at the Falcon Nest at your gorgeous Blue Bell Quarry. We were totally blown away by the beautiful surroundings, the spa, and just how peaceful it all was. We had an absolute whale of a time!  

Also… a huge shoutout to Boris! My boy Hank the Hound totally fell in love with him. They became instant besties, tearing around together while we cooked and relaxed. It was so lovely to see them both living their best lives.  

Thanks again for such a fab weekend - we’ll 100% be back soon.

We had such a relaxing stay at Falcon's Nest. The unique carriage in its own enclosure gave us privacy and felt like a little haven in the woods. We thoroughly enjoyed our spa session and Tim was fantastic at offering support when we had any questions.
The 'nest' was extremely well equipped and had fantastic night's sleep on the very comfy double bed. Whilst braving the outdoor shower most of the time it was lovely to have the option to have a warm shower in one of the beautiful showers in the communal area.

We sat by the fire each night toasting the complimentary marshmallows and cider from one of the local cider farms. Pure bliss. The perfect place to hit the reset button.

Such a peace fulled and private space. Loved the wagon, and the birdsong and the shower, which brought a new meaning to the phrase 'forest bathing'.

We had an amazing stay at Bluebell Quarry. What we loved most was the sense of privacy - it truly felt like our own little retreat, tucked away from the rest of the world. The outdoor spa was a real highlight and made the experience feel extra special and luxurious.

Everything we needed was right there in our own area, which meant we could fully relax without ever being disturbed. It was the perfect mix of nature and comfort, and we left feeling totally recharged.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, private escape with a touch of indulgence.
